How do you create an inviting window display?

I manage a boutique that sells jewelry, handbags, shoes, and (limited clothing) shirts. The owner wants me to fix the window to make it look more inviting. She doesn't know how to do it. Right now there are purses and rhinestone shirts hanging in the window. I am not sure what is need to make the window more attractive and inviting. There are two picture windows with the glass door in the center. The windows are 6ft wide and 5 ft tall. The problem is that there is a 4 ft counter on each window so it makes it difficult for people to look through the window to see the entire store. Any suggestions. I thought of remving the counters but that would involve repairing the window frame and getting new flooring in the area that the counters are in.
How do you create an inviting window display?
I used to love to do this when I worked part-time at a men's clothing store. I used to use chairs, wooden boxes, maybe a few furniture pieces in the store. I even used balloons in a net at New Years to look like they were going to fall out of the net. You can lay your shirt on the chair, hand purses on the chair, etc. Whatever clothing or purse pieces you use should be pieces that catch the eye and make people want to come into your store. I was an agent invited to attend their scam across the nation. They pay all the agents minimum $200 plus airfare and room for 2 nights and meals. If you are an agents that gives seminars you get $1500 plus!!! It is a great time out of town. None of the agents are credible.





Some of the agents have repped no celebs ever. Most of all none of the agents care about the contestants at all. Proscout staff is unfair and spins everything.





Save your money! you are supporting a fun time for all the agents in attendance. If you are a hot male prepare for the gay men to get all over you.





The modeling agencies are all scams, constantly in and out of court. Check website to check on their history.





More importantly call MEL MCFARLANE or Brian Marcus and ask for a list of agents that will be in attendance during your event.





The do the major research... you will find you will never get a printed list.





Big time rip off and this comes from the inside.





SAVE YOUR MONEY and Put PS out of business.





Your only savior if you want your money back to start building your case for the Better Business Bureau. BBB. PS makes sure they keep their record clear with the BBB the rest of the complainers get nothing.





Poor kids leave crying the event and the agents go home rich. PS sells everything from non-sense literature to cheap worhless pictures.

my friend asked me if he could bring his gf to the party. I don't know her that well, and neither do my friends. This party consists of all guys and she would be the only girl which might make it real awkward. I'm wondering if I should tell him off about it by telling him that my parents hate girls in the house (which is technically true)
