Does Yahoo ever invite anyone to change password?
no yahoo never asks you to change your password. normally these are hackers trying to get into your account. it is good to change your password every few months. never click on links unless you know for sure your friend has sent them to you. again these can be hackers trying to get into your account.
Reply:Actually, it does not. Any e-mail that tells you that you must change your password and gives you a link to do it is a phishing letter. That is the oldest form of identity theft out there on the 'Net.

Reply:No they do not so if you got an email from yahoo about changing the password dont respond and just delete the email. Someone is trying to gain access to your email account and from there can get personal information about you including any bank accounts you use to make online purchases.
Reply:i never have heard that sort of invitation from Yahoo! but it has a password changing option for its users if they feel it necessary.
