How should I deal with unwanted guests inviting themselves over to my house?

My brother-in-law, Onslo is very loud and produces an undesirable smell, but he and my sister always seem to manage to creep by my house. Oh dear, what will the neighbours think?
How should I deal with unwanted guests inviting themselves over to my house?
The Quran says, regarding people who visit others: " if you are asked to go back, go back: that makes for greater purity for yourselves: and Allah knows well all that you do."





This is an indication of good manners. If your relatives are not aware of that, you can find a gentle way of letting them know that they cannot come to your house without calling and asking for an appointment.





Find the right time to tell them (which is NOT when they show up again at your door... maybe when they are inside, or maybe when you call your sister.) Maybe you can start a daily morning chat with your sister on the phone and tell her (oh, by the way, I cannot receive visitors today because I have to do things..).. something like that..

Reply:Let them know they are not wanted unobviously, be courteous but not so welcoming, talk about how busy you are, how messy your house gets. How there always so much to do with (btw dont really know why what the neighbours think bothers you anyway, hospitaliy is a good quality)
Reply:I think you should tell them they are no longer welcome. If they don't get the message, lock the door and don't let them in again. Anybody who puts up with unwanted guests who are doing damage to their property really is an idiot.
Reply:a proper englishwoman would never turn away guest dearie, invite them in for tea and crumpets, and light some candles.
Reply:Invite them round for dinner... Make sure you do your worst cooking ever.





Every time they come round give them horribly cooked food and watch how regularly they come then :D





If they don't eat it be offended! or send a nice little lunchbox home with them. lol
