My ideal dinner party list: George Galloway (politician), Slavoj Zizek (philosopher), Steve Albini (musician), Yoko Ono (artist), and Kathy Acker (novelist).

I guess I would try to pick articulate people who would connect with each other in a variety of different ways: Acker and Albini are punks, but with artistic sensibilities which would appeal to Yoko Ono, whilst Zizek and Galloway could talk about politics - and that would draw in everyone.
Reply:Henry V111, Julius Caesar, Michael Collins, Mary Magdalen to see what Jesus was really like and Cleopatra for a bit of glamour and some afters.
Reply:Queen Elizabeth I and Mary, Queen of Scots.

What an interesting dinner that would be!
Reply:Sir Ian Botham.

Great company great raconteur and all round good dinner guest.
Reply:Elizabeth I
Reply:Crazy Horse....he was one brave m-f.!
