What do you do when someone comes to welcome you to the neighborhood(with cake),do you invite him in?

I would invite them in. If your heading out make a date to meet again. This person is reaching a hand out to you. It would be a great way to start off in a new area.

Reply:I would, he took the time to make or get you cake. If you are alone and feel uncomfortable arrange for him to come by at a time when other's are around
Reply:don't invite them in especially if home alone, thank them for the cake and explain that you are extremely busy at this time and maybe could meet somewhere for coffee or something at another time
